5:00 PM: Unwind with a peaceful boat row across the picturesque Kundala Lake.

8:30 AM: Check out after breakfast and drive south toward Thekkady. The winding route features dense cardamom and pepper plantations.
12:00 PM: Check into your hotel in Thekkady (Kumily).
2:00 PM: Take a guided tour through a local Spice Plantation. You can see how fresh vanilla, cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon are grown, and shop for authentic spices at the Kumily village markets.
3:30 PM: (Optional) Visit an activity hub like Elephant Junction for an elephant feeding or washing experience
OR Enjoy Boat safari on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This is the ideal time to view wild elephants, bison, sambar deer, and birds drinking by the water's edge. (Tip: Book these boat tickets online well in advance via the forest department portal).
6:00 PM: Watch an evening cultural show. Do not miss the thrilling Kalaripayattu (ancient martial arts) or a traditional Kathakali dance performance.

8:30 AM: Breakfast and check out, proceed to Alleppey.
12:00 PM – Houseboat Boarding: Arrive at the Alleppey jetty to board your traditional Kerala Houseboat (Kettuvallam).
Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Keralite lunch served on a banana leaf while cruising through the vast Vembanad Lake, narrow palm-fringed canals, and lush paddy fields.
Evening: The boat anchors by 05:30 PM (per government regulations to allow local fishermen to cast nets). Take a village walk, experience a local coir-making unit, or watch the sunset over the backwaters.
Night: Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and spend the night floating under the stars.
08:00 AM – Final Cruise: Enjoy a morning cruise through the mist-covered canals while eating breakfast.
09:00 AM – Check-out: Disembark from the houseboat.
Afternoon: Drive back to Cochin (2 hours). If time permits before your flight or train, explore Fort Cochin to see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets and the historic Mattancherry Palace before heading home.
